Can somebody tell me which fabrics are

snappi friendly. I want to make snappi friendly fitteds, and will be going to the fabric store tomorrow. I asked elsewhere and was told Terry, but there has to be more right? And is that any type of terry?

It has to have something for the teeth to bite into. Terry has loops, so that works, likewise the bumpy side of hemp french terry works. What are prefolds made of - birdseye, I think? That works, of course. Flannel - no. Smooth hemp - no.

Why don't you take a snappi with you and test out the fabrics you find to see if it grips?

I was testing this same question with my fabric stash this AM. It seemed like the backside of sweatshirt material would work- but I don't know how that will wear if I just sew it wrong side out?
