I'm new...haven't had time to make an official post about it, but I was wondering, for those who had Lymes, how did you first notice it, and how was it diagnosed....and what was the treatment like?

gaiamom, just wanted to say, after stumbling upon this new forum, that i loved the work you did on ticks. i think it was a brilliant idea to look closely at your reactions and beliefs about them and see if you could find the opposite to be true. i do this with all sorts of stressful thinking and find that it does change my experience of life in remarkably concrete ways. have you continued to have less of a problem with them?

I've heard about asking ticks and fleas not to bite you before, but when I did it, it wasn't so beautifully and thoughtfully worded.

kind of OT because i was talking to fleas but

I just said "fleas" "Please don't live in our house and on our pets, you may live in our yard, but please do not live on us or our children". "our yard will always be a non pesticided place for you" "please do not jump on our pets or our children when they come in the yard" "Thank You".

I wonder if the short version will work or if I need to prepare something more formal :LOL

can't say that it is working so far, because I just started asking them a few days ago.
