Girl. I know it could easily be a boy, but honestly for a boy I wouldn't use two androgynous names.

Didn't read other posts so as not to color my perception.......When I hear just the name "Reese" I think girl, but with Cameron added I would definitely think boy. I think it would be cute either way, but if it is for a girl I would just add a different middle name.

I thought boy.

I also think either Reese or Cameron alone sound masculine, but for some reason, together, it sounds feminine.

As a general rule, unisex names, over time, get claimed by the girls, even if they start out as boys names (Mackenzie, Dana, Riley, Devin, Courtney)

My son is a Reece with a C. I thought the C would make it more "masculine" as Reese Witherspoon had the S. But everyone spells it with the S.

That is what I heard too. If you want Reece to be masculine then you spell it with a "c" or Rhys (althought I don't really think that looks like it even says Reese) I personally like the wat it looks with the "c" better.

So with that said is it obvious that I want it to be a girl's name? I like the way the name sounds but am timid about using two unisex names for a girl. I would actually spell it Reese Camryn but I knew if I spelt it that way for the thread that everyone would know I want it to be girl's name.
I was thinking something like Reese Nicole which says it is obviously a girl....But I like both Camryn and Reese....

I agree with RyvreWillow it does seem that unisex names quickly become girl's names.....even some names I would never have thought as a girl's name.
Ie...Carson. I thought that was a strong boy's name when I named my son and next thing you know it is on the top 100 girl names!
A bit disappointing really.....

Which means naming a girl Reese Camryn may mean when she is older it is a completely acceptablt girls' name.....

When I see Camryn - I hear Cam-rin, not Cam-er-on...seems much more obviously feminine to me. Is Cam-rin the pronunciation you had in mind? The 3 syllable version seems much more masculine to me and would make me assume boy.
