bloody show?

I went to the bathroom today and noticed some brownish snotty looking mucus on the TP when I wiped! I'm assuming this is bloody show?

My question is how long did it take from the time you first saw bloody show til you went into labor? I'm in no hurry, he isn't due til the 24th but was just curious... I'm already 90% effaced and 1cm dilated but I know you can't really go by that...

Thanks mamas!

Hey, Lovechild!! I am already panicking!!! You can't be the fourth person due now with our midwives!!!! I am due today, another due last Saturday & one due the 15th (I think, or 16th)... PLEASE hold him in!!!!! :LOL My dd was born two days early, so this kid is officially late!!! :LOL

Yes, that is the mucous plug. I lost mine Friday, had dd Monday. Doesn't mean anything really.

I am just kidding. You have your baby when he is ready... The rest will work out.
Good luck!

With my first child I lost my plug and had her nine days later. I don't know about this one yet but I lost my plug yesterday.

I think our midwives may be running from house to house to catch babies mommyto2!!! :LOL it'll work out though I know it!

I thought I was going to go into active labor last night- I cooked dinner and was having mild contractions all through doing that- then I laid down and started to have some stronger ones that came in a pattern of about 1 minute long contraction every 5 minutes (guesstimating since I don't really care to count). But then they stopped...

Well, now I'm having a little contraction again... hmm...they feel very "period like" I don't want to bring on labor but I think I'll go for a walk...
