weekly chat thread? - Page 2

we have a very slow due date board...come on ladies let's pick it up

I had my first mw appt yesterday too...went well, too early so we didn't listen for heartbeat so I guess at 14 wks appt. I go for an ultrasound at 18 weeks.

This pregnancy seems surreal to me somehow. I know I am pregnant, I have morning sickness, expanding belly etc. etc. yet not hearing or seeing baby seems to make it a bit unreal somehow. I swear I am feeling teeny movements though...hopefully they get stronger and stronger and become reassuring.

I guess I will just have to think positive and go forward.

I do get cramping sometimes..it's a little concerning although usually it's followed by a bm. It feels uterine so I am wondering if my intestines get full and cause my uterus to contract a bit. It's not severe though, just wierd.

anyway...hope every one is well..the all day nausea has gone and now it's occasional throwing up. My aversions seem to have settled away...most days I can eat fruit and veggies...this baby is no fun...doesn't like chocolate cake or icecream....I crave raw veggies and dip. LOL

I am also not quite as tired...didn't even have a nap yesterday however I did feel very tired by the time I went to bed at 10 and baby didn't go to sleep until 11:30...I felt very exhausted by the time she snuggled in.

I think it's me :LOL my last due date board was soooo slow too!

last week i was on vacation with my fam for 3 days. skiing, snowshoeing, etc. Didn't really feel pregnant other than being seriously out of breath more than normal. I was thrilled with that.

this week totally busy -- I WOH and I am on a business trip for the day to do some lab work in a city 3 hrs from home. It's a loooong day. But when I was getting ready to come I realized my (largeish) prepreggo jeans still fit. YEAH!

Go home tonight, spend tomorrow frantically getting ready for inlaws visit this weekend. Yeah, I haven't washed the bathroom in 3 weeks and dh is up against a big deadline at work so I'm taking tomorrow afternoon off to handle it.
