Serger thread ? in regards to diapers

So I have a serger and I just got a snap press!!! Yes!!! So I am working on sewing up a stash for our new one due in July.

So my question is what thread and where are you using to serge diapers? I was using all wooly nilon on all 4 spots but I thought I noticed that some people use the nylon on the loopers and not in the needle. SO now I am using nylon on just the loopers and not the needles and it is very screwey. I can't get it to look right.

So I am thinking maybe I need to do wooly nylon on both loopers and the right needle and just regular thread on the left needle.

What do you all think?

As far as I know you only use decorative threads (like wooly nylon) in the loopers. I have never heard of using it in the needles. Lord only knows how you managed to thread it through there!

:LOL well after I posted I went and figured out the tension better. I just needed to walk away for a moment and collect myself I guess. Now it is looking great!

Good for you! You are going to HAVE to show me how to properly use a serger when I get one.. granted it will be months from now but that's perfect because you'll be a pro!
