Yeah so the neck turned out a little big and the outfit as a whole fits like a 3T on my 18 month old and perhaps using a print for both the shirt and shorts is a bit busy but I love it! lol

I made this just before I moved from Hawaii and it's too cold for shorts and a shirt but it will be perfect this summer. I might even take in the neck a little! :LOL

Just wanted to share.

I'd love to see pictures of any child's clothing you've made!

:LOL You made me laugh!

I used an "It's Sew Easy" pattern because I'd heard they run true to size, not in my case though. I really didn't like useing the pattern, maybe I did it the hard way but cutting out all the pattern peices - tracing them - cutting out all the fabric peices and following a pattern that doesn't seem to say enough or show enough pictures was a challenge for me! But I made it through and learned how to make a nice bound edge in the process so it was worth it but it was harder than I imagined.

What type of pattern are you using for the dress? I would absolutely love to see it and I so long to make dresses *hint, hint God!*.
