Sources of colorful bits of Malden Mills WindPro fleece??

I am always on the lookout for sources of Malden Mills WindPro fleece - lots of colors but not huge quantities.

I know you can buy huge bags of remnants from the MM store, but that's a lot of money to spend on an unknown quantity of items I can actually use.

I also know there are some co-ops out there that do some MM orders, but I have never seen one do a nice variety of MM windpro, seems it's always microfleece of 200-wt.

I have posted ISO lists in the MDC trading post (there's one there now... ) but that never generates much response either.

I got a good deal once on a bunch of yellow windpro from Ebay, so okay, I don't need yellow for a good long while, but I still want lots of other colors.

ANy suggestions? I don't need huge quantities, even largish scraps would be great, and I only want MM WindPro fleece (and not the lightweight variety either), and I don't want to spend a ton of money... maybe I'm being unrealistic, but I know there are lots of great colors out there, and I know there are lots of bits and pieces floating around...

Thanks!

Do you want yards or just diaper cuts?

Liessa, I just found A Cut Above Fabrics yesterday. They sell diaper cuts, and MM fleece.

Thanks,

I also just found www.diapercuts.com that sells both diaper cuts and by the yard and have a nice selection of MM fleece. I think the best deals I have found are from the MDC trading post when someone occasionally cleans out some of their fabric stash.

I don't need "diaper cuts" per se, as I am not generally making diaper covers with them, but rather fleece shoes, so the pieces don't have to be particularly large. So I hate paying premium price for something I am just going to cut up into little bits because I KNOW there are still lots of decent sized scraps floating around out there...

Alright, back to work...

Would you believe I just tossed a whole bag of scraps which included some windpro . If you want I can save my scraps for you. I always have small pieces left after my cuts are done.

Thanks, Peacemommy, I just sent you an email, sorry it's taken me so long to come back to this thread and check the replies! I get a couple of minutes at a time at the computer these days, it's hard to keep track of everything.

Thanks to everyone else who replied. I'm still looking for WindPro, but especially dark green, if anyone has any they want to part with. I have some other great colors, but for some reason, no dark green. Hmmm...

Have you ever tried the sewing forum over on AmityMama?? They all seem to have tons of fabrics to trade or sell...
