Milo Canyon was born peacefully at home, in the water on Sunday, March 13 at 12:03 am. Labor was long, all of Saturday, but Milo and I stayed strong and our birth was wonderful. A comet came down here in the PNW during the hardest part, many of our friends saw it light up the sky. DH was the best birth companion and our midwives were awesome. We're so in love!!! Milo weighed 8 lbs, 6 oz and was 22 inches long. He is perfect and healthy. I'll try and post a pic soon.

I see I have a lot of catching up to do here! Wishing all you mamas waiting, birthing, and babymooning all the best energy and love. Shannon

congrats!!!! What a wonderful name, I have both names on my "like" list but I never thought to put them together
