my snaps are a bit crooked, and I need to add crossovers, but I'm happy with it and it's nice and trim, which is great for down here in the summertime.

Thanks for looking.

Nice job, mama! What pattern did you use? What kind of wool is it, interlock, jersey? Did you use 2 layers?

I've had some wool for months but I'm too afraid to cut it! : I can't decide what pattern to make... should I wait until I can afford a snap press... should I make shorts instead... do I want to use 2 layers... should it be one-size or sized... etc, etc, etc!

Sorry to ramble- your cover is great, I love the bright snaps!

I hear you on the wool cutting fears - that stuff ROLLS! That was the most frustrating part of putting it together. But I just used a LOT of pins and pinned right along the edges.

I used 2 layers of wool jersey. I followed the supplemental pattern instructions on www.sewdiapers.com for the WIO, just didn't put in a snap in soaker. I have the Very Baby AIO pattern and this is my 3rd project off of it. I've made 2 pockets as well, but my first one got covered in grease when my DS wore it to help Daddy fix the lawnmower :

Thanks ladies! I'm hoping to start on either an AIO or fitted before the weekend. Decisions, decisions....

oooohhhh, shorts.....how do you make shorts? Pattern link available?

I have Butterick 4791, and thought I'd try to make wool shorts from it. That's what I made the pants in my signature with. *Sigh* so many cute patterns and fabrics, so little $ and time! :LOL
