Hi! I couldn't figure out if I should post this in the sewing forum or not, especially since diaper-making mamas may have some insight, so mods, please move where ever you see fit

I bought some yummy organic wool interlock from an MDC mama to make DD some capris. Yum. I love this wool so much I want to buy some more wool to make a king-sized wool blanket for my bed. I'm pretty sure the wool I bought is the same or almost the same as is sold (but out of stock) at diapershop.com. I received the wool already having received a hot wash and dry and then I gave the wool another hot wash and dry. The wool is originally 58 inches wide and it's now 48 inches wide, so I'm cool on shrinkage width-wise. I don't know the original length, though, so I don't know how much the wool shrunk in length. Can anyone give me some real life examples of how much I can expect the wool interlock to shrink in length after I wash and dry it on hot a couple of times? TIA!
