Just got back from a visit to the ER... *UPDATE*

I had pinkish/brown spotting yesterday and then red spotting/light bleeding today. I'm new in town and don't have an ob yet so I decided to go to the ER just to see what was going on because the not knowing was killing me.

They don't know what's causing the bleeding and the baby looked fine. The biggest concern for me is the fact that the baby is measuring a week behind. I should be 7weeks exactly today, and the baby is only measuring 6w1d. I figure that could make sense if I was off by a few days and given that u/s aren't 100% accurate. So now I just have to find an ob and get my hcg levels checked in two days. I'm trying to remain emotionally neutral because there's nothing I can really do about things right now. I'll post an update when there is one.

Sending positive thoughts your way. I keep reading a lot about u/s being off on sizing the baby, so don't put too much faith in that technology. Hope everything is just fine!

Hey ladies,
Just wanted to let you all know that I lost the baby this morning. It was pretty quick and painless, all things considered. My dh and I are going to just chill out for awhile and then try again in May.
I hope all of the other babies on this board stay safe and snug and that you all have easy pregnancies!
