has anyone ever used one? i'm looking at one on Ebay (new) and the picture makes it looks REALLY complicated!!! :LOL it says it comes with instructions, so i'm sure i'd eventually figure out how to use it.

has anyone tried one? like it? dislike it? more trouble than it's worth?

i have a binding foot and i love it now that i've gotten good at using it. same with the rolled hem foot.

for what it's worth (now) yeah! I've used them a lot. I had one for the ca 1948 Singer and I got one for my 1988 singer. They look almost entirely the same.

It's really not that complicated to use. You just set it and every few stitches or so it pleats/ruffles the fabric together. It's mechanical - and not that hard to figure out. PM if you ever get it.

You can use a rolled hem foot? That's like magic juju to me. I still can't figure it out. I do really narrow hems by hand now.
