Announcing Jacob Sirius!

I posted on the weekly thread, but here's the rundown, and pictures!

Jacob Sirius was born at 6:28 am on Wednesday, March 23. Labor started around 1:30 am and got more 'intense' around 3 or 3:30 am - just after a nice big thunderstorm passed over. The midwife arrived at 6:00 am - not much time to spare, obviously! Jacob was 8 lbs 12 oz, which was a huge shock (no pun intended) to me - dd was only 7 lbs 1 oz, and I didn't feel like I was any bigger to speak of with this pregnancy! He was 22 inches long.

He's not so sure about nursing yet... when he latches on, he does well, he's just not all that interested.

Congrats Patch!!! He is just too cute... With my first DD I gained like 40-50lbs and she was 7lbs 1oz and a very long hard labor, with this baby I gained 20lbs and she was 7lbs 12oz and very very easy labor! Go figure!
