What do you think, Rubella too?

Ok, it has been a little over 2 weeks since dd#3 came down with Rubella. So Yesteday we leave for a short trip to Seattle. We arrived yesterday, running around today, and are going back tomorrow.

Last night dd#2 wakes me up. Her throat hurts and she is throwing up. She has no noticeable fever so I didn't even take it. (Yes for some reason I brought my thermometer AND liquid vit. C although I normally don't.) She also throws up all over the hotel room. So after cleaning her up and everything else I get her back to bed and she does it again a couple more times. I am thinking food poisoning.

So today she isn't throwing up anymore but doesn’t want to eat and does complain about her throat. I am still thinking food poisoning and figure her throat hurting is that lovely acid burn. Ya know? So after running around the Science museum all day, we come back to the hotel for a rest then we were going to dinner and the space needle. (dh wanted to eat there until I pulled up their menu and prices. haha) So dd wakes up from her nap with a fever of 101. At this point she hasnt eaten anything but did drink a smoothie from a health food store, and some water.

So I decide to stay at the hotel with the little ones and DH and dd#1 are off getting me something to eat and finding some soup then they are going to go to the space needle themselves.

Then I got to thinking. DD#3 had rubella a couple weeks ago. She didn't eat for 3 days prior to the rash, only nursed. Now dd#2 is sick. Could this be rubella as well? Oh btw.. dd#1 and #2 are fully vaxed. So they have been vaxed against rubella not once but twice! I guess I am going to have to wait for the rash to know for sure.

Oh yea... Today was field trip day at the museum, (we are on spring break) I have no idea how many kids we exposed to whatever today while I thought she had food poisoning. :

No it can't be as the CDC says that Rubella has been eradicated in the USA.

I am sorry I could NOT resist.

But honestly, wait and see. There is so much going around it could be anything!
