Our favorite books on learning

I thought it would be fun to list our favorite books on learning and education! I am currently reading

All Kinds of Minds, by Mel Levine

It is fascinating and I am learning so much about how we learn, the memory and ways to help different children learn. He is so respectful of all learning styles. I wish he could consult with every school (especially my children's!)

Another favorite is

Real Boys by William Pollack

His theory on how boys and girls learn differently is very intriguing and seems to play itself out how he says with my boy and girl.

Let's hear about some others!

I haven't read many education books out there, but I also like Real Boys. A few I really like:

How to Talk So Kids Can Learn by Faber and Mazlisch (sp?)
Montessori Play and Learn: Purposeful Play from 2 to 6 by Leslie Britton
The Absorbent Mind by Maria Montessori

Cheers,
