Drug Interaction and Rescue Remedy?

I don't post too much, but always get such fast and helpful replies when I do! So, I figured I'd ask about this:
I just started taking Lexapro and was wondering if Rescue Remedy is safe to take with it. I tried looking up info on RR and read that you cannot overdose on it. but I did not find any drug interaction info.
Also, where do you buy RR? I know it's available online but can I find it in a drugstore, too?
THank so much!

i really dont know the answer except that I take RR and I take a bunch-load of other pills and Ive never had a problem. My pdoc seemed to think that the RR wouldnt help or harm so she didnt care if I used it or not. I know it helps me....
good luck

Do you have access to the packaging inserts from the Lexapro or even the number of the company who makes it? Sometimes the prescription label will show the manufacturer's name.

I've had bad reactions mixing my usual psych meds & some natural remedies but I also have bad allergies in general, so it's very likely it could have just been my odd body chemestry.

Bach flower remedies are safe to take with anything- unlike some herbs which CAN have nasty side effects or drug interactions.

I buy flower remedies at a health food store.

Thank so much for your responses.
From what the RR website said, I *thought* it would be safe, but just wanted to see if anyone had any experience.
Thanks again!

RR is a vibrational remedy, there isn't any "ingredients" with the exception of water and alcohol. They work on an emotional/non physical level. It is more likely the Lexapro would interfere with the effectiveness of RR not the other way round.

If you don't mind my asking, why were you interested in rescue remedy?

I keep a bottle on hand for car accidents, shocking bad news, physical trauma, etc the way I keep a first aid kit in my car, but if you're looking at it as the one-size fits all flower remedy, that's not what it's about.

For specific problems, anxiety, depression, anger, etc there are individual flower remedies that would work better. Most health food stores carry RR, fewer by far are ones that carry a good flower remedy selection, but it's worth the search.
