Hey, I didnt see a new weekly thread so I thought I would start it- hope that is okay!

Hope everyone had a good holiday

We had Scotts parents come into town with our 3 year old niece. It all went pretty good. I am feeling better emotionaly this week- however, not 100% myself yet. My little Breeze is just amazing I just look at her and smile all the time She is so pretty- I mean really just pretty. Rainey is such a great big sister- very careful arond Breeze and kind and sweet. She is 12 days old- I cant even believe how fast this goes. I didnt realize how fast Rainey is growing until I had Breeze. Rainey turns 2 on Thursday

Must run I hear Breeze!!! Will post more later

Babies still coming??? What, you mean, I will actually have a baby one of these days???

This waiting is driving me crazy!!! I finally had contractions last night for about 3 hours about 10-15 minutes apart, but as soon as I fell asleep them seem to have fizzled out. I suppose it is something, right?

Well, anyone else out there still waiting with me?

Hello Ladies, I am still here too. I have a doctor's apointment at 9am , I was told if I made it to the appoinmtent i would be sent for an induction. I have been bordering GD all along. My 1st PG my GD was soooo uncontrollable and I got toxemia too! I had to be induced 2 weeks early. 2nd daughter was induced 2 weeks past EDD. So this one (#3) is a big baby...weighing in at over 10lbs ( am only 5' normally 105lbs....ouch. I am okay with induction , I guess I am 9 days over due. My EDD is bang on because we were charting BBT's and have the date of conception as day before "O". I was hoping to do it on my own , but nothing has worked. I am very excited but very nervous too. I will post my birth story as soon as possible. Take care ladies.

PS
Crayon, I love your daughter's name "Rainey" , we chose for daughter # 3 "Rayne" pronounced as Rain as soon as we found out we were PG. It will be her middle name but that's what we will call her, we couldn't find a middle name to Rayne but were able to come up with a name to preceed it...funny how that works.

Hello, everyone!

I had definitely forgotten what 'babytime' feels like... I can't believe it's been nearly a week since Jacob was born.

He finally decided after a day or two that, yes, he was interested in nursing after all... I had to switch solely to the football hold and I think I figured out why - the poor thing, everything is just too heavy and it drags down out of his mouth in the cradle hold. But in the football hold, he's a little eating monster.

My mom is here this week, and then dh is taking off the next two weeks, so I'm going to be able to rest a lot, hooray!

Dd is doing *so* well, especially considering the entire time she wanted a baby sister. (Of course, this means that she's told me I have to have another baby 'soon' so that she can have the baby sister...) So far she's not really been jealous-acting at all. Hopefully that will continue...

s to all the still-pregnant mamas!

Tiffany- We named our newest DD Breeze, and that is very hard to come up with a middle name. For now I am 100% set on Breeze Melody- but her dad will not give me a 100% yes! So, I have not gone down and filed the paper work for her birth certificate yet. I do love Rainey's name too! :LOL And Rayne is so cute!

Well I have IL's who will only eat pizza so we had pizza all weekend and I seem to be paying for it now. My sweet baby is very fussy and gassy... wonderful. She has a pretty fussy night. And it doesnt help that I have been going to bed late because I want to spend some time with DH and DD#1 doesnt go to sleep until 10-12 at night Last night it was 11 before she went to bed and that was with out a nap all day.

Well, I better run- The dog is outside and barking! and I have calls I have to make

Wow, congratulations, Mary!!! Your post sent chills through me! Welcome to the world babies!

My mom told me that back in 1976, when I was born, her OB was so upset to have just delivered surprise twins. He was so out of sorts because he was supposed to have detected the two babies. I always thought it was so weird that he was upset about it.

Anyway, congratulations and enjoy those babies!

Molly,
I think I read that these two ladies had their babies...

Trish (Ellis Herr) 3/21 Girl--3/24 Sage Dylan
Jennie (Jenniebug) 3/23--3/26 Rhiannon

I am hoping that aquarianmom is holding her new one as well.

Today or tomorrow might be my day...we'll see.

Wow! Surprise Twins!!! Amazing! Congratulations and : to Emily and Lucas!

My little girl is doing great! She sleeps most of the time, but is so sweet and content when she's awake. I'm still reeling from the shock of having a daughter and I find myself browsing fabric for sewing dresses already.

Good luck to the mamas who are still waiting! Yes, they really do come out eventually!

MANY,many congrats & blessings!!

I am STILL waiting for baby to make an appearance. I seem to have PUPPS and am itching like crazy (hence,I am awake at this hour posting LOL) . I'm also ready to throw the phone out the window. I'm getting really tired of the 5 phone calls a day from well meaning (or maybe just nosy) people calling to say,"Are you STILL pregnant?!" :

I'm still in shock over having one babe that I've known about since June....I can't imagine twins! What a blessing!

I can't believe that Owen is already 4 weeks old and paid maternity leave is almost over. His baptism is this Sunday. We've invited the whole family over for lunch afterwards (about 25 people). So DH decides we need to put hard wood floors in the living/dining room. Then he has to take an emergency trip out of town...and he finds that half the room has linoleum on it...blech...anyway, hopes there is a floor by Sunday. Oh and there is a sofa and easy chair in my kitchen, that will just make cooking for 25 more fun

At least its getting warmer here. DH should become golf obsessed soon and leave my house in peace.

Owen is now big enough to wear all of the fun clothes that people got us. He has on jeans, a cashmere sweater, a polo shirt and high tops right now. Im sure his outfit cost more than anything I own, but he's so cuuute!

: I wish my DH was obsessed with getting our house done- at least you have a kitchen!

Well Breeze has been pretty gassy and upset the last 2 days- she is sleeping peacefuly now, but I dont know how long that will last. She is pretty strong- she was holding her head up listening to the music from River Dance yesterday. We slept in the spare room last night- it seems we are moving to that room by 4 am anyhow and with her screaming the last 2 nights I figured it would save DH and DD from being awaken by her- so we just slept in there. I am very sleep deprived- and feeling very emotional.

Tomorrow is Rainey's 2nd birthday I cant even believe it! And I am watching a co-workers DD tomorrow and friday too- she is 8. But her dad has never been to our house, and our house is 1/2 under construction and a total mess and cluttered and I have no energy or emotions to clean it- He is kinda a neat freak- so I am sure he will be over joyed to see my house! I wish I had a house that was not cluttered, done and had nice things. I want an IKEA house! DAMN IT! But no- I have the classic 2nd hand and maybe even 5th hand house!

Okay- off to take a shower- I am going to take my girls over to a firends and show them off as DH works on their computers!

Mary, WOW!! Congratulations on your twins. Full-term and so big... you are one amazing mama!! Where in ME are you? I'm in Cumberland County.

Sarah is amazing. Very relaxed and calm. She nurses great. I'm really surprised by how much easier all this newborn stuff is the second time around. Engorgement wasn't NEARLY as bad, sleeping is going well, all of it. Sarah has setteled into the family as if she's always been here. Now her SISTER, on the other hand... it's gonna take a while, I think.

Sarah's first Dr. apt was Monday.. she was 8lbs, 9oz. Dr was impressed: "Wow. You must be some producer" she says to me :LOL If she only knew I already have a full bottle in the freezer, and that was just to ease the engorgement a little! Like crayon:yes, the cow IS jealous!

I can't believe March is over! It seems like only yesterday we were looking ahead and moaning about how far away it was.

I have totally been MIA. Sorry. Between the newborn, the getting-closer-to-sitting toddler, and the final preparations on the dissertation (41 days until submission OMG), I've been just a wee bit busy.

My baby boy Sameer is doing really well. He went to see the ped at 3 weeks for a jaundice/weight check and he was 10 lbs 9 oz. I weighed him this morning...now 10 lbs 15 oz. The ped said he was the poster child for breastfeeding. Up more than 2 pounds by age 3 weeks LOL! He's already growing out of the 0-3 clothes... He's a pretty easy baby except for his constant and remarkably loud grunting.

I am still laughing over the Surprise Twins!!

Good luck to the ladies in waiting...I've been there!

Wow we all seem to have gargantuan babies. They are growin' like weeds on mama's milk! We went for the 1 week appt and Logan was 9lb 4.5oz up from 8-7 the day after discharge from the hospital. His 1 month appt is next week, I can't wait til we see what he is now! We are also growing out of 0-3mo. stuff. Especially the onesies. Good thing I only bought 1 pkg of the little ones he's already been wearing the 3-6 mo ones too. So I didn't waste too many.
I have found Logan to be quite gassy, he cries, and then he'll start to let it loose, I feel so bad for him I wish I could help him out. Then he also gets hiccups about 3 times a day. Anyone know how to help him out with those? He gets the most pitiful look like "oh no not again!" And usually he ends up spitting up half the food h just drank poor thing. Good thing I have a ton of supply!!!!!
