Has anyone found "Synthrapol" locally?

I am going to try dyeing cotton prefolds and was wondering if I could buy Synthrapol locally? or my only option is to order online?

Does anyone know if "Synthrapol" can be found locally? If yes, what kind of stores would carry it?

Thanks.

Yes, I have found it semi-locally. A store near my sister (in West Virginia) carries it, it is called Craft 2000. I have also found it in well-stocked artist supply stores like the kind near universities.

Thanks for the response. I'll try to search for similar stores here. I'm just trying to avoid paying $8 shipping on $3 purchase of small bottle of this.

Tie-dyed.com
has it at 4.12 for 16 0z and UPS ground for around $4.
Also, if you join the forum you are eligable for 10% off purchases at the store.

I have seen it locally here at a artists supply store. Also I have heard people say they have founds it at nice yarn stores.

So far I have tried big chain store like Michaels, joann with no luck. I need to find small specialty craft store.

I did find Jacquard small tie-dye kit at Michaels though.

I'm feelin' 'ya on that one!!! I can't stand how much shipping can be on small stuff.

I agree with a PP, try a *good* art supply store...not a craft store.

Some quilt stores carry it as well. Good luck!
