insomnia...help please

does anyone else feel tired,but not able to sleep very well? It takes me a couple hrs to fall asleep at night and i wake frequently and wake up early, sometimes 5 or6 am and feel fully rested, but my body is still tired and if i get up, then 2 hours later i'm tired again. I try to nap in theday with dd, but even then i have trouble actually sleeping. advice?

No advice, but I can empathize. I have been waking up several times throughout the night, just wide awake. I usually fall back to sleep pretty quickly, but I'm awake every morning between 5:25 and 5:45am. Not so bad for the days I have to get up at 6:00 anyway, but that's only on T/Th.

I've heard disrupted sleep patterns are pretty common in pregnancy. Guess we'd better get used to it, eh?

Not to scare you, but I had insomnia through my entire first pregnancy. The good news is that it disappeared the day dd was born. Now I have it again. (It's how I knew I was pg, despite 4 negative HPTs) If anyone knows of anything that helps, I'd love to hear.
