Hi again Mamas. We had a good, if a little stressful day today. It took me such a long time to get buns and I dressed and out of here. I stopped by this little store by my house, it has all sorts of fun and funky clothes for women and kids, and jewlery etc...I didn't find anything but the women who works there and is super sweet wanted to hold buns, so I had her do that while I looked around. Didn't buy anything, although I wanted too, I resisted.
After I had to go do boring things like pick up some meds for my dog, post office, drop by the bank and get a few groceries. Buns had a major poop while in the grocery store, and when I changed her in the car, poo was all over the shorts she was wearing (she was also wearing a dress, the shorts go with the dress, super cute, but had to be removed), I got her (and the mei tai the poop was also on) cleaned up. Went to our shopping area, that I HATE going to. I bought myself some cropped jeans and a tank top, and then went to the body shop. I thought the total was too high, but buns was crying so I was trying to get out of there. Sure enough I was charged twice for the most expensive thing I bought ($25), so now I have to deal with that. Grrr..I have noticed that this happens A LOT since I have the baby with me...hmmm.
When we walked into the body shop, buns started fussing, this other customer came up to me (and this really pisses me off) and said "she is uncomfortable in that" and I looked right at her and said "No she isnt', she is TIRED and she was fine before we walked in here" and just stared at her until she walked away. WTF? I swear, I get that a lot because NO ONE around here ever wears their baby in a carrier, so other women will say to me that she is uncomfortable if she is crying. It really bugs me that a complete stranger thinks they know more about my child than I do. The woman left right after, so I think she was embarrassed, as she should be.
ANYWAY, that is one of the many reasons I hate shopping, besides the whole trying to find something that fits AND looks good.
Sorry...I am a big blabbermouth today!
