Please 'o please help me with blanket binding and mitered corner.

First, does anyone know a good instruction page on how to make a baby blanket with binding around the edges?

I've never made a blanket before and I want to attempt to make one with china silk brocade on oneside and minkee on the other. I purchased a little tool called a 'bias tape maker" in 1" thinking that I can make blanket binding out of the matching brocade.....Am I on the right track?

I've been trying to think this out in advance, but my brain can't seem to figure out how to mitre the corners of the binding....any tricks you can tell me about???
