Roll call?

I know Alvenchrst is the founding member. Maybe you can be president.

I'm a card carrying member as of tonight.

Anyone else?

Oh, and no : puke smilies, please. : It makes me feel like joining the smilie.

Oh I'm so sorry Spark! That's no fun. How far along are you now? I know I puked at 3 weeks. Yuck, no fun.

Sure i'll be your president I at least feel more relieved about having a misscarrage every time I feel like puking. I'm at the point now where eating doesn't help the nausia, it's ALL DAY LONG! Usually eating has helped, but it isn't helping and things are not starting to sound good at all, I hate that. I also am really nausiated by meat, especially when it's cooking. I have so been craving tofu, i love in sauted (sp?) in sesame oil and in stir fry or in salad.

Ignoring your food comments right now. But, i'll talk about them later.

How are you counting 3 weeks from conception/ 5 weeks from LMP? If so, I'm... doing math, today my period is a week late... so 3 weeks! What do ya know! Maybe it's a thing with us.

So, are you still feeling twin vibes, oh, President you? Sometimes I just want run out and get an U/S so I don't have to wonder this time around. ug. I feel like I talk myself into it so easily. The last two pregnancies with twins/not twins was enough to drive me batty. I'm so OVER twins! :LOL And, yet I fantasize about that early U/S that I've never had before. :LOL

Ok, so this is my Puke Club Entry Letter:

Dear Puke Club President,
I have been nauseaus on and off for a little over a week now. Gradually it's been lasting longer and longer. So far I've had success in holding off my puke with a protien smoothie, but it just didn't work tonight. I was hoping the protein was my silver bullet. No such luck. I fear that things will get worse as they have in previous pregnancies. I pray that I get at least some time each day where I feel well. With my DS I lost about 20lbs the first trimester. With my DD I had breaks in my M/S and I lost 6 lbs. I'm hoping to go the easier route this time too.
Do you consider a gender difference with your M/S, too? How was it with your DS?
Thank you for the club. Nice to know we'er amongst bad-breath-running-to the-nearest-recepticle friends.

Claire, OMG, ROTFLOL : : : :LOL :LOL :LOL . That was great . . .

uh, ya, i'm counting 5 weeks from LMP (w'ell not really, my adjust LMP based on my TTC chart), so today I am 5 weeks so that would be 3 weeks from conception, ur, did that make sense? So yeah we sound to be at the same time frame, lucky us.

Um yeah, I was so bad about obsessing over getting on U/S that I considered faking severe cramps to get in and get one, is that bad or what, i know, I'm sick. Then i found at that usually you can't find out twins till 6 week anyway, which is my first appointment, so I calmed my slef down and decided to wait. It's like first i had to obess about TTC, now twins, what's next! I supose I'm still feeln' the twins vibe, although I'm thinking if not twins, definentally girl. My preg. with DS was SOOOOOOOO easy it took be forever to feel pregnant and this time it's hitting me like a truck. So much earlier by a couple of months I feel all these weird pregnancy things. Who knows, we'll find out eventually.

Um, not sure you want to hear, this, it's somewhat like the puking icon, but the very worse is dry heaving. Uggg. I can't believe you lost so much weight, sound like you had hyper-emisis (not sure on the spelling) but it basically mean you are an overactive puker, and they can give you meds for that if you are interested. My SIL who is already very skinny lost a ton of weight and had to be hospitalized.

All I have to say to my Puke clubbers is don't forget to drink your water!

Dear Ashley,
I can't hang around you anymore. My Butter Bean says that you're a bad infuence. Trust me when I say, quelching your Twin vibes early is a good thing. I think it's much better to be pregnant than pregnant with twins until proven otherwise... that said, look what I found at an Ectopic Pregnancy site...
"G.P's and hospital doctors may have difficulty reaching a diagnosis because trouble may occur almost immediately you are pregnant (3 weeks) up to 12 weeks or even later. There are many other causes of lower tummy pain."
Oh, Gosh! Do you see, do you see? You're trouble for me. I said I wasn't EVER going to wonder about twins this time... and you're making it catch for me.
See you in Life With A Babe,
Claire

:LOL Just kidding. But let me tell you in my last pregnancy, Oh, I measured FAR ahead, and it kept growing exponentially until I was 12 weeks ahead at one point! 12 weeks! In the U/S of Cicely's profile, there was a face looking right on. There were so so so many things!!! And, it was just one baby. It was so weird living in this world of wondering about twins for oh... 8 months! Ug. I wouldn't recommend it. Unless of course you can happily wonder for 20 weeks of pregnancy and then not have anything weird happen (assuming you'll get an U/S at 20 wks). I'd like for you to have twins. Really, I vote for you!

Personally, I think they'd be SO much work. It was really pretty daunting the last time. It was like excitement and Holy $hit! all at the same time.

Alright, back to previously scheduled topic... with my DS I don't think it would have been considered hypermesis, because I never threw up. I just couldn't eat. I'd gag, but there was nothing in my belly anyway. I had no appetite, just constant nausea 24/7.

Satori... Ok, ok! You're not a member! :LOL You just watch though, pretty soon this thread will be hoppin'! When all the popular kids are doing it, you'll want in!

Nothing's come up, but I've had a few episodes after poopy diaper changes and washing dishes.

The odd thing is that I can get through the poopy diaper, spray it off and everything, I tend to heave when I'm washing my hands.

The pukey smilie sends me close to the edge when not pregnant. IMNSHO, It needs to be banned from due date clubs.

Maybe we need to put a sticky at the top of the page asking members to refrain from using the puking emote.

I'm not a member yet, but the way I feel this morning convinces me that it won't be long. Oh, dear. I thought it would feel like flu pukies, but instead I kinda feel like I'm drunk, what with the head spinning and everything. And this thread isn't helping!

I am the kind of person who will hold back puke at all costs. We'll see how long I last. I also woke up this morning with tender nipples. All kinds of symptoms hitting me today (my 5 week mark). And this is the last week of classes of my last week of University. I hope m/s doesn't cost me my BA!

Amy

Yeah for the last week of classes!

My primary symptom is the Victorian Lady Pregnant Swoon. I'm dizzy most of the time.

My boobs aren't even getting bigger yet....but I have had 2 and a quant done so I know I am but why NO SYMPTOMS!!!!!!!!! maybe I need to look harder for them!

Oh, Becca! May you be snotting puke soon.

Really, it's probably just too soon. Did you read the M/S facts in the other nausea thread? That will probably comfort you.
I'm signing a petition to make Claire the new president, whose with me?

5 times in 3 HOURS!!!!! :

Goefizz, i'm with you on the poopy diapers and dishes, ugh, it so dicusts me! I made DH change DS poopy this morning, it was like pulling teeth to get him to do it, but I was like, it has to be done, either you change him now, or you'll have two messes to clean up! Bring out the clothes pins for my nose!

I'm having all sorts of other GREAT symptoms too:
Constipation
Sore breast
Metal mouth (that's a weird one)
cramps
bloating
Cravings (tofu and soy sauce)
Aversions (meat)
Insomnia, ugh as if I wasn't already tired enough!
Incredible thirst
Acne, great, now I look like a tean ager again
Hypersensitive smelling ability, or whatever

Claire, oh no, please no votes for twins. It would be fun, but I prefer to love my newborns one at a time We really shouldn't even talk about it anymore, oh, should I add obsessive to my list? I'm getting hopefully an 8 wk and 20 wk U/S so at least I will no one way or the other before I give birth. I keep think, well maybe it's a girl, wouldn't that be great, I even had a very vivid dream of giving birth to a girl last nigh . . . hopefully.

This is a pregnancy symptom? OMG, I've had that in spades since about 6-7 dpo! I even got myself a toothbrush and toothpaste at work so I could brush my teeth 16 times a day. I had no idea this was a preg symptom. I'd thought I'd gotten a cavity.

Anyone know what causes this?
Becca I agree with Claire, it may just be too soon. Many women have harly no symptoms at all and go on to deliever prefectly healthy babies. I think we all worry about the health of our babies at this point, that's completely normal.

Geofizz, haha, so glad to shead some light for you, it is weird isn't it. Everything I've ever read says they don't know why. Maybe someone else has better ideas.

Any more members?

Ashley, are you still carrying your "I Puked" member card?

I am! I hear after 12 trips to the big white telephone to call Ralph, you get a free Preggi Pop. I'm so excited. I should have... oh, I lost count. But I bet I'm going to get at least 3!

Seriously though, I ordered Anti-nausea hypno tapes. I do hypno for my labors and pregnancy, so I'm hoping it will help. raying1: Seen Here

PUKE PUKE PUKE PUKE!!!! Really, it feels sooooooo much better! I wish I would have puked in my other pregnancies. Just eat something light... soup, smoothie, tea and get a going. Ahhhh, so much better than round the clock nausea. Give it a try!

Puking... it's what's for breakfast... and maybe lunch... and probably dinner. Mmmm, puke!
