OK, I think I'm ready.... can I join you?

Hello everyone! I have been waiting and waiting to jump in here, as I had a m/c in November at 9 weeks and had jumped in with two feet and told everyone and it was so so awful. I'm now 8 weeks along, and we haven't told anyone yet. I'm having an u/s in one week and if all looks good, then I'll start telling. It feels so weird to not tell people. Especially dd. But she took it hard when I lost the last one ("... so I'm not gonna be a big sister???") and it was painful.

So far, though, I'm feeling adequately yucky, though not terrible. Alternately crampy, bloated, mild nausea, breast fullness, fatigue. And I love it all, cuz last time I felt almost nothing and I was worried, and as it turns out worried with good reason.

DD will be a little over 3 when number two comes, and we are definately stopping here! It took us ages to even decide to go for a second one!

Anyway, I look forward to getting to know all you mamas in the upcoming months!!!

welcome and best wishes. I've told one good friend and my mother but beside that no one but me and hubby know for the same reasons. (I've had 4 m/c) I know it's nervewracking to be preggie after a loss! I have a u/s this week at 8.5 weeks and am really hopeful that we will see a heartbeat agian. If so I'm ready to tell. :LOL
