i have a porcelain doll, she's 9" tall and proportioned about like an 8-yr-old. i need to find a simple dress pattern! i have some people interested in me making a fan-art doll of Samara from The Ring/The Ring Two and putting it up on ebay, and i found a pale porcelain doll with the perfect long black hair. but i can't find a dress pattern for a 9" doll! when i reduce or enlarge other size doll patterns, they're not proportioned right (always too skinny). any ideas/tips? (i'm a novice at sewing, i have no idea how to make a pattern from scratch.)

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I am not sure what kind of pattern you're looking for, but some of the waldorf shops have 8-9 inch dolls with dress patterns. Try Magic Cabin, Joys Waldorf Dolls, and Weir Dolls for starters!
