KONOS and The Well Trained Mind and The Story of the World

I noticed the post about using these together.

So, how many of you do this? We use KONOS in a very relaxed manner with our boys and love it. What a blast!! We started notebooking and that's been pretty fun. But, it's a bit cluttered doing it all by trait. I'm thinking of switching to a subject notebook instead. Our library has TSOTW books and guides, so I just put the vol.1 on hold. I think it might be fun to add to our studies. We are a bunch of nerds around and my kids just eat books alive!

Just wondering if they work at all together. We are planning on the kids using KONOS HOW for High School and do a more thorough chronological History study then. We use the KONOS timeline, too and have been using KONOS for a year. We are pretty relaxed. As in we check out a 100 books and DVD's and the boys pick out what stuff looks like fun. Then we go at it for a month.

Was it my post with the list?

I want to. I just can't afford the KONOS volumes right now. I don't personally know anyone who uses them together. You could also try asking on the WTM boards: http://www.welltrainedmind.com

From what I know about KONOS (I used to to use it before switching to Classical Education) and WTM, I think they would go very well together. There are SO many ideas in KONOS to pull from that I think it would supplement nicely. I say supplement b/c for me, I don't want KONOS to be my main curriculum.
