Any toddlers acting funny?

We haven't really explained this whole thing yet to DS; being that he's a little chatterbox and would walk around to everyone he sees. However, he's been acting strange from a few days before I tested until now. He wants to sit in my lap constantly (and he's Mr. Speedy), has been asking me to "carryyou me" all the time, etc. He's weaned, so I haven't noticed anything with his nursing behavior. Do you think he senses something is up?

I keep thinking that maybe she is acting different, maybe she isn't.

Over the weekend, DD needed to nurse every three minutes. Last night she only asked for her "coming home nu-nu" almost as an afterthought, like she'd forgotten and then decided she didn't really need it.

DD is asking to be carried more, and she has decided that diapers are just fine with her; no underwear thank-you-very-much. I wondering if she really is asking to be carried more, or if I'm just more tired so I notice it more. I don't know about the whole potty thing. 3 weeks ago sitting on the potty was the world's best thing to do, but now she seems terrified of it. DH called her a big girl last night, and she objected: "I'm a little girl."

Jake - who had on his own become a morning and evening nurser a while back - is nursing constantly all day long! He also wants to sit and cuddle a lot more than usual (usually he is wayyyy too busy to hang on mom's lap much). I think he for sure senses that our attention has shifted a bit. It's strange for me to think about the fact that he is no longer my only baby. Wow. Just typing that I got tears in my eyes. He's still such a baby...

I thought she was just going through a weird phase. Do you think they can sense the early pregnancy?

Honestly, I think they can. DS also told me a few days ago that he was going to "help his sister" (I strongly believe that baby is a girl...) - and we've said not ONE WORD to him about it other than him seeing the stick when I showed DH (not like he'd know what it was!). Pretty weird, right?

I know dd is and she's driving me nuts insisting that I have a baby! I told her if we got a baby then the baby would drink up all the milkies to which she immediately responded with "na ah! You have 2 boobs! 1 for me and 1 for the baby!" LOL! At least I know she's learning basic math

DS was definitly the first person to know I was pregnant. DH head left for a short stent overseas and that is probably a cause for some of his behavior, but since I found out I was pregnant it has gotten worse. He is extremely clingy, he wants in my lap constantly! Up, down, up, down. We go to a fun activity he would normally enjoy and he is a pil, we go to McDonalds to play on the toys, he wants to push the other kids or climb in my lap. At home he throws a fit everytime I get on the computer.

But this could all be contributed to that fact that daddy is gone. Also, he is getting in two molars and has been in a lot of pain, he has been on Motrin since yesterday because he would just cry and grab at his mouth. It seems like whenever daddy goes anywhere big events happen!
