only one of your children in waldorf?

After four years of waldorf (parent-tot/preschool/kindy), we moved to an area with a MUCH more expensive Waldorf school and just couldn't swing it. This year, my daughter is in ps first grade and my son is at the same school in kindergarten. My daughter has not gotten used to "regular school" and misses waldorf terribly....my son never really took to waldorf and is glad to be outa there. In fact we visited the old school in January and he refused to get out of the car (something about "they'll make me eat millet!")
I have this total fantasy of being able to afford to send my daughter back but...
The big question:
Can you put one kid in waldorf and not the other? Is that just bad and wrong or is it okay to say it's not a fit for everyone?

I've known families to have one child in waldorf and one (or more) not in waldorf. It isn't necessarily a problem or a conflict. In fact, in your case it would be easier than some, since one child wants it and the other doesn't. I've known families where they could only afford the tuition for one child and had to make a very tough decision as to which child it would be.

There may be other concerns and complications that you need to consider. Take your time, look at the big picture, chat with other families, breathe.

Yes, i agree with Deborah. It may be that the universe/god has plans laying out quite nicely in that your son may not 'fit' there, yet dd loves it!
I think when it comes to family and the reality of life these days decisons sometimes are much less 'comfortable' to make---- more complicated than we'd like.
