Telling the grandparents

My in-laws showed up last night. They'll be here through Monday morning, then back next weekend.

This morning we put a "I'm the big sister" t-shirt on DD. She proudly showed her grandma her new shirt saying "Look grandma, I got a new shirt!"

MIL read the shirt out loud and replied "that must be a hand-me-down."

DH filled her in that it wasn't a hand-me-down, it was new.

Wait.... wait... wait...

"But you weren't having any more, were you?"

FIL gets up 3 hours later.

DD proudly shows FIL her new shirt. FIL reads it then walks out of the room. MIL was calling behind him that he should think about it. FIL goes to check his email. Half an hour later, MIL tells him to think about it some more. Blank look. MIL says "Wendy's pregnant."

FIL went into the bathroom where he remains farting and grunting.

Wendy, your post just totally cracked me up. Are you going to save that memory to put in your baby book??
