13th Birthday Party Ideas??

DD will be 13 in July but I always let her have her birthday party in June, so she can invite aher school friends.

Have any ideas for a party??

she suggested she wanted to me to get a room at a hotel (with a pool) and she wanted to invite her friends to sleep over

So I am desperate for ideas.....

It's tough!! My son turned 13 in Dec. He had a few friends come over for a sleepover. We all had dinner together then we went all together to Blockbuster so they could rent movies/games of their choices. We gave them the basement to sleep in so they felt they were on their own, which they loved. It was really successful and very affordable! They stayed up most of the night, but it didn't matter!! My son wants to do the same next year.

Also, pizza and a movie always works! You can invite lots of kids to a movie. Or even a restaurant.

We've had lots of slumber parties at our house and they are always fun. I try to have no more than five guests-- more than that and it seems like someone ends up feeling left out. At my 12yo's last slumber party we made soap. The girls had fun adding different scented oils and colors.
