Wool bloomers?

I'm thinking of making DD a pair of wool panties with elastic legs to go with dresses during the summer. Think this would be a good idea? Any tips?


I was thinking two layers of unfelted jersey or interlock.

I made my daughter a pair last year and loved them. I used one layer of felted jersey. They were a little thin, only could be used for a daytime cover but otherwise were great. Oh and I made them in a very light mint green color and after one time of playing in the driveway rocks they were so stained and I could never get them clean! So maybe choose a darker color.

I am actually thinking of doing this with some wool felted wool flannel I have around. Let us know how it turns out.
