How's everyone?!

hey everone, I was just wondering how everyone is feeling. I feel lousy. I don't have full blown m/s, I just don't want to think about what to make at mealtimes. I haven't thrown up, but I feel nauseated. Anyways, I think it might only get worse since I'm about 6 weeks along. Does anyone have an ultrasound soon, and how early can the baby's heartbeat be heard?

I'm doing good, no m/s yet but i'm just turning 5 weeks so i'm sure it will show up soon! Boobs are killing me and I scream out at least once a night when dd latches on, I think its time she weans becasue my boobs are killing me! (she's nearly 5) I've still got a decent amount of energy but i'm feeling a bit short tempered these days. Hope I dont spend the entire preg grumpy!

You can see the hb on u/s usually by 7 weeks.

No M/S yet *crosses fingers*
Last time I had it real, real bad. Big time bad. This time I'm taking preventative measures by having a B-complex vitamin every day.

My nipples hurt terribly, I'm cramping a lot (normal for me) and TMI - I have diarreah that will not go away. That's also normal for me at the beginning of pregnancy. I'm not bloated like I was at the beginning of last pregnancy. I was showing and people were commenting BEFORE I got the + test back. This time I don't look any different yet.

Well, I'm awake at 3:30 am feeling too sick to go back to sleep. How unfair is that?

Can you give me some details on that? Is it more B-vits than is already in the prenatals? I thought it was the B-vits in prenatals that contributed to ms.
Nope, but the classic pink prenatals often make women sick. I'm getting mine from optinatal this time : http://www.1cascade.com/natural_prod...ins/optinatal/

That drug they give women who have hyperemis gravardium (??) is essentially half an antihistimine and half a b vitamin. I've known moms who make their own that way when they could not get it prescribed.

A B vitamin before bed (or in the morning, if it's worse at night) will quell m/s. Getting a better prenatal will quell it. Not eating crappy food will quell it, even if you crave it.

Last time I didn't eat as well as I do now. I ate a lot of refined sugar, and didn't balance my meals well (I'm vegetarian now, wasn't then). I had it really, really, really bad. All day long, all night long. It was terrible. I didn't get it until I was around 13 weeks though, so I don't know how well I'm preventing it as of yet. But at least I have confidence that I am eating a much more preventative diet.

Last time I lived off tums and travel tabs for the first half of my pregnancy.

I'm super, super tired........and a little queasy throughout the day but not m/s, and I am really crampy and constipated and VERY grouchy. all in all its almost exactly like the last time. I had an U/S yesterday because I don't know my exact dates but they couldn't see the heartbeat yet usually you can hear the heartbeat with a doppler by 10 weeks, a little earlier for skinny people and later for those who are fluffier.

Hope you are feeling better, Melissa I have been ok, slight nausea from time to time and still tired but not much to complain about. I had my u/s yesterday and I am 7 weeks and we did see the heartbeat (yay!) My due date is "officially" Nov. 28 but I'm betting on a December baby so I hope I can stay here with you all! :LOL

hey everyone, I'm glad everyone is feeling relatively well. Thanks for the info. on when I will possibly hear my baby's heartbeat. I feel quesy again today. This morning sickness is not as bad as my first two pregnancies, so I can handle it. I hope that everything is going right within my body. It's hard not to worry. Goodluck to everyone!

What is m/s?

I am 5 weeks too and my boobs are killing me. My 4 year old twins latch on at bed time too and I just grit my teeth everytime! YOWZA! I want to wean them but everytime I try one twin acts like I am yanking her heart out with tweezers, I get heart broken and just can't do it. The other twin would wean except when she sees her sister getting a good thing, she's not about to let her have all the fun!

Short tempered? Uh YEAH! I thought it was just because I am so tired, but I guess it's hormonal as well. It takes incredible patience to work with the girls at this difficult age when I am constantly feeling like crap.

I guess people have survived this for a very long time, so I should stop complaining and get on with it. But it is so good to hear that I am not alone!

Hope all gets better for you! Cheers!

Hi everyone! Well, we decided to tell DS, Lucas, last night!!! We just couldn't hold it in any longer. DH called him to the living room and we told him "God put a baby in my womb!!" His eyes got real big and he said "right now, while I was in my room??" He laughed and smiled and even got tears in his eyes. He kissed my tummy a million times and when DH gave my tummy a "zerbert" he told him to stop because it might "scare the baby!" He is very excited. This morning his first words when he sat up in bed were "how big is the baby now?" I guess this will be a looong 9 months for him! =)

One thing I was wondering about was MS. I was already vomiting my brains our with DS at this time. It makes me feel nervous that I'm not this time around. I mean, it would be awesome to have a healthy baby without having to puke daily, but it makes me wonder if all is well inside since I'm not that sick. Any thoughts???

Thanks and have a great day ladies!!!!!

Be thrilled that you have no sypmtoms!!!! My first was wonderful from day one! No m/s nothing, just a bit of constipation and heartburn toward the end.

But now with my current preg I feel like crap!!! I thought, "Oh, it was so wonderful the first time, I enjoyed every minute of being prego, it was bliss". Everyone was jealous. so now it is my turn and I am jealous!

Enjoy!!!!!!! All is well!

Thank you blueskyblue! That was very comforting!! It is amazing you felt so good the first time, considering you had double the babies!!!! =)

Yeah! They say that it is usually worse for mulitples because more hormone thing going on,but not me. Just goes to show that no two pregnancies are the same.
