I drank a ton of water but my bladder wasn't full enough so they had to do a transvaginal, which I figured they would but even with that they couldn't see the baby, just the sac. They said I am 5 weeks and 6 days. which isn't so off from my calculations but apparently is too early for them to determine anything and too early to see a heartbeat, that can usually be detected at 6.5-7 wks.
they said that my mw will probably want me to come back for another one in about 2 weeks to make sure things are okay, I don't know if she will because she only wanted me to get a date, which I did, December 6. I wish it was more reassuring, my husband says I'm a pessimist, I kept saying...but they didn't see a baby, what if theres something wrong, what if its a blighted ovum, what if, what if.....and he kept saying why would anything be wrong you have no history of problems theres no reason to think there will be. I guess he's right but am I the only one who worries about this stuff???
