domestic goddesses -- help me get rid of this blue fuzz!

Okay, so I have this blue fuzz everywhere in my house! I think it originates on my navy blue towls, but it gets everywhere. On my clothes, the baby's clothes, the bathroom counter, the sides and back of the toilet, the carpet . . . you get the idea. And whenever I try to wipe it off with a cloth and hot water it just smudges everywhere, gets caught on the cloth and spreads to everything else. Any suggestions for stopping my towels from shedding? Or for ways to wipe things down without spreading the fuzz? Or stop it from appearing on all my other laundry?

no one has an answer? am I doomed to blue fuzz forever?

I get a lot of lint from the TP and the towels in our bathroom. Honestly, the only way I can stay on top of it is to wipe it up every day. I use a microfiber towel that is just a bit damp (i just use water).

For your situation, I would get rid of the navy towels!
