*PICS* of a Dress I made for DD!

I made this dress from a pattern I altered (made the sleeves longer, added cuffs to the sleeves, and made the neckline more closely fitting). Dd usually wears a 2T (she is 33 months old), but this is a 3T and it is HUGE! And LONG! It should be better fitting later, but it still looks pretty cute on if I do say so myself. I may alter the dress more later when it actually fits dd, if I find the sleeves are too wide.

DRESS

The patterned fabric is gorgeous; you really can't see how nice that fabric is in the pics.

Very nice! I love the fabric you used for the cuffs and the collar. It looks so nice with the purple color of the dress.

It looks adorable!! Since it's a 3T it would probably fit Jack perfectly right now :LOL

I suggest adding a sash at the waistband that ties in back- this way it won't look quite so huge on her- it also makes the dress more likely to be "pass-down-able- the skinny kids tie it more, the less skinny kids tie it less, and it's flattering on everybody.
