Aww mama, that is a scary feeling. I have heard LOTS of people with spotting during pregnancy though and it was normal. Can you have your progesterone level checked as soon as your insurance comes through?

That is scary. I have had some light pink spotting on and off during this pregnancy. It seems like I have it most when I over exert myself during the day. I had it some more last night and I have vowed to take it easier for the next month or so. I didn't have this with my other two. I did get pink spotting once with my second, but it was after dh and I dtd one night. My midwife told me not to worry, that pink blood was typically just a bit of cervical blood. The cervix is more sensitive during pregnancy, and when you over do the little capilaries can be damaged. Hope that helps put your mind at ease some. I just keep telling myself that a tiny bit of spotting is normal.

Most of the docs I work with say that its nothing unless you have enough bleeding to cover a pad, that some light spotting can be normal from implantation, cervical changes, etc. Nervewracking for the momma, but not a big deal from a medical standpoint, as long as it stays just a little, I have also heard of people having light "periods" throughout their pregnancy, like when it would normally be AF time you have light bleeding for a day or two, wierd but still had perfectly normal pregnancies, bodies are crazy!!!!! Maybe Iris is on the right track and you need to put your feet up for a couple of days!! Keep us updated

we'll sil is a rn and works in the emergancy room area and dh called her last night and she said to rest and try not to worry and the only time it'd be worth it if i was soaking a pad in a hour.... i sleept last night with a heating pad on my stomache. i'm still bleeding this morning when i woke up

A heating pad may not be the best thing. Excess heat during early pregnancy can damage the baby (no really HOT baths either).

I spotted when I was between 4-6 weeks my first pregnancy and it really freaked me out. I did some reading and found out it was probably implantation bleeding, but it didn't make me feel any better.

I'm kinda crampy and spotting a bit now, but I'm not TOO worried about it. It feels the same as my first pregnancy, and I know some of it is intestinal discomfort.

Just take it easy with your feet up and try not to think about it too hard. I know it is easier said than done though.

I had spotting from week 5 to week 8... I had an u/s at 6w6d and saw lil' jelly bean, heart beating away. A nurse told me that at this stage of our pregnancies, our cervix is like a soaked sponge, filled with blood, and that it can, with some women, take very little to make us spot...

Try to relax, I know from personal experience that it isn't easy, but you are doing everything right so try if you can... good luck!

patti

I just read about your m/c. I am so sorry and I hope you get pg again soon!
