How often do you leave your kids with someone else? - Page 2

Ideally I would like to leave dd with a sitter once a month so dh and I could have a date night but we really don't have anyone who'd be willing and/or capable of watching her for us that much so as it stands we've left her with my parents twice in the 16 months since she's been born.

I don't know if this counts, but I have a mom's helper that comes 2.5 hours/week. I am the majority of the time she is here. But on a few occasions I've run out to the store and left her with my older son, and recently I left them both for about 45 of her time with me.

besides me and DH, our DD has only stayed with 2 people. My cousin who has watched her I think 3 times, and my mom who takes her on most Fridays (to give me some alone time as well as to give them bonding time). I'm just not comfortable with a stranger watching her and only recently have we started sending her to Sunday school while we attend church.
