I'm sitting here laughing at myself. Every morning when I get into work, I'm so excited to check the May boards to see if anyone has had their baby yet. I'm like obsessed!!! I was so excited to hear of the two babies born already to the mama's in this group. I'm such a dork. I think part of it is because I'm still pretty new to the area I live in and I don't have any real girlfriends here yet. I feel like I'm getting to know all of you ladies so well here on MDC and I am so truly excited for all of our babies to be born.: I just can't wait to hear who goes next!!!!!

Yeah, I had it this weekend!! It was sooooooo fun, I got to see my dad and my sisters and my mom... all of my family and friends in CA!!! Baby and I were absolutely spoiled rotten, it was nice. I got pretty much everything I need, which was shocking. I couldn't believe how generous people were I got back on monday and picked up all the gifts that people had ordered for me at BRU, DH and I put everything together, I got all the clothes hung up in the closet, the blankets folded and put away, everything washed and organized, then I just sat there and stared at everything and the realization sunk in about how close I actually am to meeting this baby : Wow!

So then you've got the diapers you need? What did you end up getting?

My mom is paying for three months of a diaper service, which was unexpected. I wouldn't mind washing them myself, but she really wanted to get it for me... So I let her. She got me a bunch of Bummis super whisper wraps to go with it, and some wool yarn since I just started knitting wool soakers. I'm just about done with my first one, we'll see how it turns out!!!!

Groovy. Was wondering about that. My mom actually bought me my first package of dipes too, but it was the $150 nb package from Earthbaby. It was nice because I couldn't drop that all at once at that time.

Jenn, which wool soaker you knitting? I am going to start this as well. I got my 100% wool yarn, my needles & my pattern. Now to get to my Aunt so she can teach me. I am using the WHW trim soaker pattern. I hope it is easy! (I can crochet but can not knit, yet. )

I feel like a dork, too, for hanging out here and posting so much but well, whatever. I think that the people that post here are really nice and interesting and it's great to share this experience with those who are like minded. At this point it's hard to really do much. I sure don't feel like doing much more than knitting, posting and watching DVDs
