I should clarify...I have no problem finding KS on a *labelled* map. It's those maps without state names that are tougher for me (like a map a student might get in geography class....or a map testing geography in a group of people). Those, I have consistently had to study to "relearn" each time I would be tested (because it doesn't stick). Needless to say, I never really "learned" it at all....just memorized using pneumonic devices each time. FTR, I always got perfect scores on my geography tests :LOL

People are different kinds of learners, kwim? Maps of all kinds are tough for me to understand :

I have started just telling people I'm a goddess. My best friends uses the title diva, and another friend uses queen. People who know me, know I stay home with my kids. If they don't know, why are they asking? I mean, sometimes I meet someone new and we're just talking and they ask if I stay home, and I say yes. But it usually seems like if someone actually says, "What do you do?" or "What is your title?" it's someone that doesn't know me well enough to ask. So, I tell them I'm a goddess.

For awhile I was saying full-time mom, or sahm, and it seemed like I offending people right and left. Implying (I guess) that wohm moms aren't full time, or whatever. So, I decided to skip it.

great thread though! I love reading what people call themselves - I LOVE family manager. Ain't that the truth!
