Help! My fridge STINKS!!! (it's been in storage for 4 mo)

Someone please give me some ideas for getting this horrible coffee smell out of my fridge. Actually, the freezer is the worst. We moved and it's been in storage for a while. We were sure to follow the rules and put tube socks full of coffe in both the fridge and freezer compartments to make sure it doesn't get moldy and musty. Well, I put a box of baking soda in the fridge and it smelled much better after a day. And my MIL said to clean w/ vinegar, and I did that yesterday, and the freezer is still HORRIBLE!!! I don't even like coffee, so this is not a good thing! So we aren't even using it until it smells better. Right now the freezer has the baking soda in it.

Any ideas?? I'd appreciate them!!

Try scrubbing it with a mixture of baking soda and dishsoap. It should have the consistency of Softscrub. Wipe it dry with a different rag. You might also need to clean the coils.

You could also try leaving an open bowl of vinegar in there to deodorize. I coffee, so to me it would be a good thing.

Thanks for the idea, tracy. How do I clean the coils? I'm thinking it's something internally too. I poured a box of baking soda into a big bowl and put it in there last night. The freezer's the only part that still smells, and I just dont' get it. and it's BAD! Do you think putting it outside w/ the doors open for a while would help?
