modal/beechwoods sheets?

Does anyone use modal/beechwoods sheets? I'm looking for something soft. The 400 thread count cotton sheets have started to pill, we've only had them a month. These modal sheets sound interesting, supposely contain no pesticides and good for sensitive skin.

Lurking because I saw them and almost bought them (so SOFT!) but I didn't know how they'd hold up.

The sheets are still holding up well. I did notice a snag, but after looking at dd's and Dh's toe nails : I'm not surprised. dd's been having lots of accidents at night so these sheets are often washed twice or more a week (they're the only set I have). They are still silky soft and I love the feel. Still no pilling. There are 2 kinds, I don't know what mine are called, but they are NOT the jersey ones.
I do wash on the delicate setting with cold water, do a quick fluff in the dryer and then hang dry when possible. I overheard a store rep saying that the colored ones have been known to bleed onto a mattress. I have white so it's not an issue.
If buying from BB&B be sure to hunt around for a 20% off coupon. After our recent move I get one once a month!
