It's a Dutch book. I finished it the other day and found myself very upset by the ending and what it meant to the whole premise of the book. Also, it was translated into English from the original Dutch, and I felt like maybe it lost something in the translation? Not just literally. I would love to talk to some Dutch mamas about the themes in the book and how they may be seen differently in the two cultures. Anyone?
