makeing shampoo?

Hello!
I was wondering how and can you make your own shampoo? I use Miracal II right now to wash myself and hair I also use it on my Ds he is so nice and soft after. It does last a long time but I would much rather make my own.

I use a recipe that was posted on here and have been very happy with it.

1/2 C. Dr. Bronners castile soap (I used peppermint)
1/2 C. water or aloe vera gel (I use water)
1/2 tblsp. oil (I used organic canola)
10 drops essential oils (whatever floats your boat)

I then rinse with a mixture of apple cider vinegar, water and lemon essential oil.

I use terressentials body oil on the ends 2 times per week.
