I saw the pictures of someones Bendy Dolls (Karis Mom I think.), they are really cute. I would love to try and make one. Where do I start? IS there a book or a website that can help get me started?
Thanks!

*THE* book is Wee Felt Folk by Salley Mavor. I don't have it, it is available on Amazon or at her website, Wee Folk Studio . I don't have it though, I ordered through my library months ago and am trying to wait patiently. I have put it in my cart a million times at Amazon!

I used directions I found at Amitymama.com. They have a wonderful archive area with craft/sew alongs that give you all the information you need. Search the craft forum for more ideas too. I think you have to register to see pictures, and the pictures make the difference.

HTH, have fun, and post pictures!! If you have any more questions, I am going to be making more soon and maybe I can take some pictures for you.

Thanks!!!!

I just put the Wee Felt Folk book on hold at our Library. I'm very excited to get started! I think I'm more into these little crafts then my DD. LOL!!!

Also, I love your felt food. Did you sew the felt together or do you use some sort of glue? What type of felt do you use?
Thanks soooo much !!!! :LOL

Keep saying nice things and I will tell you anything you want!

I sewed the felt together with a zig-zag stitch on my sewing maching. I thought it would be easier to handsew them, but it really wasn't. I didn't use any glue. I used acrylic because that is what I had on hand, but I have since used a wool/rayon blend from Joann's and I like it much better.

I am definitely more into these crafts than my kids but they like them too! Everyone has enjoyed the bendys and made one or two of their own.
