cutting it all off! Update w/Pics! - Page 2

Beemama, I respect your desire to cut off your hair, although like the others, I think it's gorgeous the way it is. I have long hair, down past my butt, and I have a few websites that have easy, pretty styles for longer hair. I thought I'd post them here to maybe inspire you. Of course, if you've made up your mind, then that's fine too.

For me, long hair is a joy, and if it was too hard, then I'd cut it off!

Thanks, mamas! You've definitely talked me out of cutting it short, I'm going to try just past my shoulders first w/ some long layers.
I was worried about not having a long enough ponytail for donation but I measured it to be more than 2' if I cut it right past my shoulders. This is the longest my hair has ever been (I attribute that to no 'poo & wearing it up all the time so it doesn't get as tangled).
Meggles~ are you still able to put yours in a ponytail? I wish I could see a pic! That's all my mom needs, she's a great hairdresser.

Persephone! Thanks, those are great! I'll try some of them out & see if it doesn't get me excited about my hair again!
Blessings!

Okay! It's off! One thing I found out was that my hair isn't as curly as it was before Lil was born, if you look here in this pic taken right before I cut it, you can see the line where it changes over. I thought it was just all of the weight pulling the curl out.
So here it is today! There's a long story about the progression of the cut & how I freaked out & cut some bangs (which I've kept over to the side w/ a barrette) but I'll spare you & just show some pics. Here's the front& the back. Lily could've cared less that I cut it. Here we are cheesin'. And just one more, to show off my little monkey & the shirt I made for her.
It is SO much easier to take care of. I wanted it shorter but my mom thinks it'll be too big if I do that. It's also so much easier to put up. Aside from the bangs, I have no regrets! Thanks for all of the input! Blessings, Kelly

Your hair cut is super cute!

I think your hair cut looks fabulous. Your hair still looks very curly to me and it is soooo shiny and looks so healthy. I'm jealous!!! In a good way if there such a thing.

It looks like the perfect length. You can still pull it up if you want and of course, wear it down too.

I think it looks great! I hope you are happy with it!

beemama~ You look wonderful! The cut is fantastic, and just in time for summer. Woo-hoo for taking the plunge and going for it. It really looks great.

Thanks, mamas!
I'm so glad it looks okay, because practicality was going to win out on this one regardless.
