Anyone know a good link to alternative automotive products. I wonder what i can put in place of the usual windshield wiper fluid. I live in AZ so freezing is not an issue.

White undiluted vinegar, a squirt of dishwashing liquid. Can add some rubbing alcohol and/or water if you want.

I've used diluted white vinegar (in the summer here, we're in Ohio!)

alkenny, can you give ma a ratio of vinegar to water? And you use no soap at all and it still works good? My one friend uses dr.bronners in hers i just have no idea how much

I just mixit half and half like I do to wash windows and stuff in the house. And nope, no soap.

Does it get the bugs off too? I live in a major ag. area and we have bugs all year round. Right now my windsheild is so full of dead bugs I can barely see(but I have been too lazy to get out and clean it. LOL)

Yup, vinegar helps get rid of bugs. For stubborn bug-guts, you can use a watery paste of baking soda and water and scrub it clean. It won't harm the glass at all.
