Microfiber cloth question

I just got a bunch of microfiber cloths and they say on the package to machine wash seperately. Does this mean to wash each individual cloth seperately, or just to wash them seperate from the rest of the laundry? Can I throw them all in the washing machine at the same time? Or will that damage the microfibers?

They mean to sort your laundry and only wash microfiber items with other microfiber items.

In practice, I wash them with other things that don't produce lint, like fleece, PUL, and other synthetics... I don't wash them with cotton, hemp, or chenille because they look like big flat dustbunnies when I do that ;->

It means wash only microfiber together. Don't add terrycloth or any other types of cloth to the wash because the cotton fibers will clog up your microfiber and make it less effective.

And don't use fabric softener either, at least the ones I have mentioned that as well.

Maybe it depends on what type of microfiber, but I've been using the ones you get in the automotive section in with my dipes for over a year now (and wash them WITH the dipes) and I don't see any difference in them.

I have some microfiber dish towels I use for camping, cheaper than the auto ones. For me it's all about the lint. I wash mine with the lint free load that can include shirts, pants, jeans, really old wash clothes, etc.

i wash ours with jeans, or any fabric that doesn't get pilly/linty - mostly my really old (read as : from high school - 13 years ago) tees and such.

I wash mine with anything but I let them air dry, I don't have much of a lint problem. When I put them in the dryer, they stick to the other clothes real bad.
