Is there some trick to catching both edges of seam binding? I keep missing spots on the bottom side & having to sew it over again :P

Baste! Five minutes of doing a running stitch by hand will save you much frustration.

I did baste, and it looked all good, but I'm still missing the edges around corners and stuff. I tried being super careful but it still didn't work. How close to the edge should I be sewing, anyways?

How long are your basting stitches? Have you tried doing extra (or really short stitch length) basting around the corners?

I usually catch binding 1/8" to 1/16" from the inside edge.

Ooh, good idea! my basting stitches are pretty long and impatient :LOL I'll try doing more and see how it goes! Thx! - jen
