I just found a spool of wnin my stash. Any tips on serging with it? Do you thread both loopers with it?

TIA

I like wooly nylon in both loopers, but sometimes I will only use it in one looper and use a decorative thread (maybe shinny rayon or colorful cotton ... depending on what I'm serging) in the other looper. Then I just feed my dipe in so that the wooly nylon ends up on the edge against my son's leg and the decorative thread ends up on the outside edge. When you are threading it through the looper, it is very, very helpful to tie a piece of regular thread to the end - it's next to impossible to pull through the looper otherwise. A good pair of tweezers help too.

the first time I tried to thread my machine with woolly nylon I just about went insane. Then I read the instruction manual lol. Also, play with the tension before you start serging. The first few things I serged with woolly nylon are crazy looking. For my machine at least (and I've heard others mention this as well) you have to turn the looper tensions waaaay down. Have fun! I prefer using woolly nylon now that I've gotten the hang of it.
