Can I dye Suedecloth with RIT dye?

Or anything else? Wondering if it being polyester makes it undyeable. Also, will it bleed when I wash it on hot?

Just got 4 yards of suedecloth and it's not quite the color I imagined--kind of a unpretty beige/brownish. Thought it would be more pinkish.

It is undyeable. The dye just washes off when you rinse it. YES, I tried it on fleece once. :LOL

I guess I'll just have to have ugly diaper inners. Oh well.

That stinks. Can you try selling it on eBay or something? I can usually find some suedecloth on clearance at JoAnns pretty cheap.

Try going to JoAnns! I just found yellow, orange and green in the clearance section for 2 & 3.00 a yard!

I second going to JoAnn's. I just got a beautiful periwinkle suedecloth for $2 a yard and a really pretty dark pink/fuchsia for $3 a yard. Good luck!

What is it called at Joanne's? I've seen a few things labeled suede something or other, but they're all like 12-15 a yard!

At Joann's it's labeled Alova Suedecloth...the other suedes don't work the same. I found a bunch of pretty floral prints for $2 a yard in the clearance section.
